Kinloch line

My great grandfather (father of my grandmother Freda) was either George or Henry Kinloch.

                                                 George Kinloch 1885 - 1917


George Alexander Kinloch was born 12 Feb 1885 in Milton, South Otago, New Zealand.
He was a soldier in WW1 and died 12 Oct 1917, Passchendaele, Ypres, Belgium.

Next of kin: Mrs Hellen Kinloch (mother), 63 Burns Street, Dunedin, New Zealand
Son of Alexander and Helen Kinloch, Dunedin. Native of Milton.
His death is recorded on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Column 1 (Belgium)

Both George and Henry are listed on the Milton War Memorial, on the Roll of Honour of Tokoiti School and in the Centennial book of the school.

 

                                         

                                                         Henry Kinloch 1883 - 1918

Henry Kinloch was born at Akatore, Otago 29 March 1883. He died of wounds WW1, on 25 January 1918 and is buried at Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Poperinge, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium.
