Robert Gibb Warren was my great grandfather.
He was born 29 October 1876 in Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand, to parents Vallance Gibb Warren and Mary Warren (nee Gibb).

Robert was the seventh child of Mary & William's 14 children. The family lived in Great King street with dad William working at first Joel's brewery, then the Red Lion brewery and later at McGavin's brewery.
DNA: Big Y 700 haplogroup for the Warren men is R-FT28793. This is the terminal branch downstream from subclade U152, which is a branch of R-M269. We currently have no matches at this granular level.
