My lovely Gran

My maternal Grandma was born 29-4-1919 Marjory Ada York, 7th child of Tom and Kate York. She had one brother and 7 sisters and lived 93 happy years. She was the last of her siblings to pass away.

Here is Gran's wedding picture from 1938. My Grandad was Ernest Emerson. They were married in the Hampden Presbyterian church, South Island, NZ on the 8th August 1938. The Presbyterian church in Hampden has now been deconsecrated and is a community art space. I think Gran would have approved, being an artist herself.
