Frederick Hargreaves 1866 - 1908

Frederick Hargreaves was my great, great grandfather born 2nd February 1866 in Caversham, Dunedin to parents Ellen (nee White) and William Hargreaves.
He had 14 siblings!

Frederick went to the West Coast to work in the coal mines. While there he married Janet Walker in 1893 and their first three children were born soon after.

Frederick suffered poor health due to being a miner and prior to 1904 the family returned to Dunedin to live. I'm not sure if Frederick worked in Dunedin? The fourth child Agnes was born in Dunedin in 1904. Sadly Frederick died in 1908 at the Rock & Pillar sanitorium, near Middlemarch. He died of pulmonary phthisis which he'd had for three years.
